CAP and MAP help fulfill the Cultural Partnership's mission to make the arts, science, and cultural experiences of Balboa Park accessible to all.
CAP passes aren't distributed directly to individuals or families. The best first step is to contact a nonprofit you already work with, or reach out to us at cap@bpcp.org and we'll help point you toward a partner organization.
No. Both programs provide free annual passes to eligible recipients.
Designate a contact within your organization to coordinate with BPCP. We handle printing and provide additional materials, then deliver the passes to you for distribution. Contact cap@bpcp.org to get started.
Active duty military families living in San Diego County.
Yes. Both CAP and MAP distribute a limited supply of passes each year, issued while supply lasts.
Pass recipients receive free general admission to the 16 participating cultural institutions in Balboa Park.
Every VIP Annual Pass purchase funds ten family passes for CAP and MAP recipients. Gifts can also be designated specifically to Community Access Pass or Military Appreciation Pass through our general giving page.
